Avec le premier semestre qui s’achève, nous souhaitons remercier nos professeurs et en particulier Me Mark Cohen, avocat au barreau de New York et associé directeur de Cohen & Gresser LLP, avec qui on a eu l’opportunité de suivre le cours de White-Collar criminal law, accompagné de Me Ashley Collins, barrister en Angleterre et Pays de Galle et collaboratrice à Cohen & Gresser bureau de Londres, Me Drew Dean, avocat au barreau de New York et collaborateur à Cohen & Gresser bureau de New York, et Me Pierre Wolman, avocat au barreau de Paris et collaborateur à Cohen & Gresser bureau de Paris.

Le cours s’intéressait à la criminalité en col blanc aux États-Unis avec des comparaisons avec les systèmes anglais et français.

A l’occasion du dernier cours, les étudiants et étudiantes ont pu échanger avec les intervenants du cours autour d’un petit-déjeuner au sein de leur cabinet situé dans le 8e arrondissement avant de terminer le semestre avec l’intervention de Me Samuel Seymour, avocat au barreau de New York, Of Counsel à Sullivan & Cromwell LLP New York, et ancien président de l’Association du Barreau de New York.

Nous tenons à remercier l’ensemble de ces intervenants pour leur implication, leur disponibilité et la qualité de l’enseignement reçu.

With the first semester coming to an end, we would like to thank our professors and in particular Me Mark Cohen, lawyer at the New York bar and managing partner of Cohen & Gresser LLP, with whom we had the opportunity to attend White-Collar criminal law classes, accompanied by Ms. Ashley Collins, barrister in England and Wales and associate at Cohen & Gresser London office, Mr. Drew Dean, lawyer at the New York bar and associate at Cohen & Gresser New York office, and Mr. Pierre Wolman, lawyer at the Paris bar and associate at Cohen & Gresser Paris office.

This course tackled White-Collar criminal law in the United States and addressed a comparative analysis with the British and French systems.

On the last day of the course, the students were able to chat with the course speakers over breakfast in their office located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. They ended the semester with a seminar by Mr. Samuel Seymour, lawyer at the New York Bar, Of Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP New York, and former President of the New York Bar Association.
